Tech for Senior Living is the senior-living-focused brand of Trinity Data Solutions & IT Services, LLC, founded by Michael Ford in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in February 2020. The company exists because senior living operators were being served by generalist IT shops that treated HIPAA compliance, resident-facing technology, and clinical workflows as an afterthought.
Michael's background is enterprise IT under real operational pressure: two tours in Afghanistan as a U.S. Army veteran, followed by a decade of enterprise IT work including time at Lockheed Martin, and 15+ IT certifications along the way. He founded Tech for Senior Living to bring that same mission-critical discipline to assisted living, memory care, and independent living operators, an industry that runs on the same regulatory and uptime stakes as healthcare, without the IT budgets of a hospital system.
Today, Tech for Senior Living operates as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), federally registered, and currently manages IT across a multi-community senior living portfolio under a 36-month managed services contract. One standardized stack, cloned per community, priced per community rather than per user or per device.
